Network Unit

If you’re 18 to 25 and still want to enjoy your Scouting you can by joining Scout Network. As a Scout Network member you get to take part in all the usual great Scouting activities such as kayaking, climbing, orienteering … as well as work on projects helping to support your local community.

You can also, if you choose, get more closely involved in working with the younger Sections and providing them with the same kind of opportunities you’ve had through Scouting.

The Scout Network is the section for 18 – 25 year olds. Becoming a member will give you the opportunity to take part in a wide range of exciting activities such as kayaking, rock climbing, water skiing, international projects in places as inspiring as Chile, Libya and Italy, work with young people and help within the local community … the list of activities, projects and events is almost endless.
The section is run in a less formal basis than the other youth sections of Scouting; this allows you to fit it around your other commitments.

As a Scout Network member you will have the opportunity to achieve some of the highest personal achievement awards for young people in the UK, including the Queen’s Scout and Duke of Edinburgh’s Awards. You will also have the opportunity to work towards gaining recognition from many governing bodies, as well as developing new skills and building on existing ones.
Its your Scout Network – enjoy it!
