Crimea Explorer Belt 2012

Go to

In July and August, 27 Explorer and Network Scouts and 8 adult leaders from across Newcastle, Tyneside and Northumberland will set off for adventure in the Crimea region of the Ukraine. They will complete The Scout Association’s Explorer Belt Award which is designed to take young people outside their comfort zone and develop an understanding of other countries, peoples and cultures. Over 16 days they will complete a 100-mile expedition, take part in a local project and undertake challenges while teaming up with Ukrainian Scouts.

With a total budget of £45,000 these young people need as much financial support as they can get to match their own fundraising efforts. If you can provide Sponsorship or Grant funding, or would like to make a donation please see the link below.
